As you heard yesterday I just returned from such a fun and relaxing trip to Boulder Colorado for Blend 2015!
Thanks for the photo Lindsay!
This was my first year attending and while I admit I was a bit nervous about it, I had an absolute blast!
Blend is a combination of two words. Blogger + Friend.
That’s what the weekend was all about. Meeting new faces, connecting with old friends and enjoying the company of others who have similar interests.
The weekend began Friday with check in and a trail run sponsored by General Mills.
Everyone filled up their own trail mix bag then headed out for a quick run. I along with a few other girls missed the group leaving so we opted for a nice short hike up a nearby trail.
With gorgeous views
Upon returning we were able to get into our rooms at Chatanuqua resort which were cute, old fashioned cabins. I immediately reconnected with Ericka who I had the pleasure of meeting at Fitbloggin 2013.
Ericka and I on Saturday’s hike
We had the afternoon to rest and relax before dinner at 6:30 which was sponsored by Sizzlefish, WANU and 34 Degrees.
Heather, Melissa, myself and Ericka (roomies) having fun during the cocktail hour!
We were served a really yummy dinner while we mingled and got to know each other other a little better.
After a long day we were in bed pretty early since boot camp was planned at 7:00am!
Kindal led us through an awesome partner workout sponsored by Gnarly nutrition.
Then we refueled with a yummy breakfast sponsored by Flapjacked, Love Grown and Justin’s!
Speaking of Justin’s, he popped in to share a little about his awesome company with us. Love me some Justin’s!
Following breakfast we headed out for a gorgeous hike.
I think I fell in love with Boulder on this hike. So pretty!
That love was cemented after our hike was over and we had free time to head out and explore the town.
AND I found the farmers market! Seriously so much great local food, beverages and products here! My favorite find was this AMAZING Sunberry butter from Life of Riley Foods.
So unique and delicious I couldn’t pass it up.
As usual I had to find the closest Whole Foods to check it out.
Talk about a bulk section! It was probably one of the best Whole Foods I’ve been in. So much great stuff!
The rest of the afternoon we relaxed, exchanged some goodies and sampled more products.
I got to share lots of About Time protein packets and bars with everyone and they LOVED them!
A little later we headed to a local beer and music festival.
It was a lot of fun to people watch and chat with some of the other girls. The weather turned pretty yucky though and we were hungry so we headed off to dinner at Aji.
Which was delicious!
Exhausted we were in bed by 10:00 and awake early to pack up before an outdoor yoga session sponsored by Bhatki Chai.
While we all thought it was going to be cold it turned out to be a gorgeous morning and the perfect way to begin the final day.
Another yummy breakfast followed our yoga session!
I found a new yogurt that is made from grass-fed cows and has the added nutrients from chia seeds!
I’m pretty sure The Love Nugget is going to enjoy these Epic Seed yogurts too!
We ended the morning with the closing ceremonies then it was time to say our good byes and head home.
It was truly awesome to meet so many amazing women and enjoy a relaxing weekend filled with so much fun!
A huge thanks to About Time for sponsoring my adventures!
Can’t wait for next year!
